A Jar of Change Can Change an Orphan's Life!

How much change do you have in your pocket? Probably not much at this moment...but if you emptied your pocket everyday for a week (or two...or six...), how much would you have?

Enough to change a child's life?

You'd be surprised at what a little change can do!

God tells us that by small things are great things brought to pass.

So what if we took Him at His Word and did some small things to help a great thing come to pass?

Add your change to a jar--any jar, you can even decorate it if you are so inclined--for six weeks and see how that change can change an orphan's life.

Matthew I. is waiting for family to come and get him, but they cannot do that without our help.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success provides women in need with more than just clothes: the women receive job training, mentoring, and most of all, hope and confidence.

I learned about this organization through the lia sophia jewelry company; lia sophia has a Dress for Success necklace they offer--a large percentage of the proceeds from the sale of this necklace go to the Dress for Success organization. Besides buying jewelry, how can you help?

1. Make a financial donation to Dress for Success here.

2. Volunteer with the organization--there's SO MUCH to be done!

3. Hold a Suit Drive to procure business-appropriate attire for women who need that clothing.

4. Participate in a S.O.S. (Send One Suit) Weekend at a local DressBarn location.

Reece's Rainbow International Down Syndrome Orphan Adoption Ministry

How can you help?

• Donate money to the Voice of Hope which helps fund the day-to-day operations of Reece's Rainbow (enables them to exist and spread the word about these children awaiting adoption).


• Sponsor a family who is currently in the adoption process.


• Be an Orphan Warrior to help bring awareness to an individual child who needs adopting. All that is required is your time and your love.


• Consider adopting a child with Down syndrome or with other special needs (e.g. HIV+, cerebral palsy, etc).


• Be a Prayer Warrior and pray for those children needing families and the families trying to adopt special needs children.


• Participate in one of the Reece's Rainbow fundraising events.
